So I created this blog a month ago and have yet to write... this isn't looking so good! I guess I will start off with an introduction, a little about myself and why I started to blog.
My name is Josie, I am 29... I had to just backspace because I literally wrote 28, on purpose, thinking that was indeed my age. Man, I am getting old. I am married to my best friend. I know it is so cliche to say that, but it is true. Whenever I am having a bad day he is the one I want to call first, sometimes it sucks that I feel that way because there are times when he causes the bad day... and yet I still want to call him. We met on a cruise at the ripe age of 22 and have been together every since. I can tell that story later. We have an 18 month old son, Declan, that I stay home with for the time being. He is the apple of my eye, and we were so blessed with such an amazing little boy! He is the main reason I started this blog. A majority of my day is spent talking to him, which leaves a lot of thoughts floating around in my head waiting to be released--this is my form of release. I have an educational background in School Psychology [I can elaborate more on that later as well], but life happens... I have lived in 4 different states since 2010, that is right, FOUR [Illinois, Colorado, California, and now Florida]! In that time frame I also got married and had a child, and I am that crazy mother who doesn't trust anyone with my sweet boy, so here I am with a fancy education staying home [for now].
I will admit I know nothing about blogging, nobody will probably even read this and it may just become a journal for me, but I needed that outlet to talk about the random things I think about, daydream about, envision for my life, and the world. I would also like to share things I am passionate about: books I am reading and have read, recipes I've tried, parenting tips I have tried [good and bad], outfit posts since I love to be a stylish mom, but I also love to budget shop, and I will also throw in some personal life stories from time to time.
